The author:
He grew up in a village called Vyšná Jedľová and since 1991, he has lived in Bratislava. When he was 14, he moved to Prešov, where he studied at a secondary school and consequently, he studied Social Work at the Comenius University, Bratislava. In 2006, he graduated from the International Business School in Brno. He is an experienced professional in marketing of telecommunication and on-line services.
His work on a genealogical project served him as an important source of inspiration for a part of the stories he monitored in his book Carpathia (2011), as it enabled him to travel across the geographical area he was writing about. His successful debut is followed up by his second work Entropia (2012) while the third part of the trilogy is .Informácia (2013).

Carpathia takes the reader to a journey through the regions inhabited by the Rusyn ethnic group. Within the pages of this book, you will visit not only localities in Slovakia, but also the Lemko Region in Poland, Carpathian Ruthenia and the communities of Rusyn “emigrants” living in Bratislava and in the USA. You will also get a chance to meet Andrij Pysanskyj, Andy Warhol, Gotthard Heinrici and many other real or invented characters connected in some way with this geographical area.
